Shamisen
Virtuoso of Jiuta shamisen and Ikuta School koto music. Born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. Studied Nagoya kei Ikuta Ryū koto with Matsugi Kakuō. Also studied with Komatsu Keikazu and Sato Masakazu. At 17, moved to Tokyo. Studied Kyushu kei shamisen with Kawase Satoko. President (Iemoto) of Ginmeikai. Advisor to Japan Sankyoku Association.
